Synopsis

A visit to Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, a country six times the area of France. This film reveals a fantastical city, born of the megalomania of an autocratic president. A city lost in the Steppes of central Asia, brushed by winds from Siberia. Glass skyscrapers, monumental portals, a palace copied from the White House, the sky’s the limit for President Nazarbaïev.
